🚀 OpenAI just released a study of how people are using ChatGPT. Turns out about half of prompts (49%) are “Asking,” - people using ChatGPT as an advisor rather than for task completion. “Doing” prompts account for 40% of usage - task-oriented interactions such as drafting text, planning, or programming, ie generating outputs. The final chunk has been labelled as “Expressing” which refers to uses that are neither asking nor doing, usually involving personal reflection, exploration, and play.
